General objectives of the Arabic language in the primary grades
The student’s pride in the Arabic language subject, the language of the Holy Quran.
- The student acquires listening skills and etiquette and uses them to understand audio text.
- The student’s mastery of all types of correct reading.
The student memorizes a sufficient amount of literary texts, enjoys them, and appreciates their beauty.
- The student expresses what is in himself and what the situations require in sound language, whether the expression is verbal or written.
Developing the student’s ability to listen and extract the main meanings and ideas of audio text.
The student acquires basic spelling skills that enable him to draw words correctly.
- The student's ability to understand what he reads and extract main ideas from the text.
The student acquires vocabulary by learning new words and using them in sentences using his/her methods.

General allocation of change in the Arabic language in the first grades

Acquiring linguistic ability: This helps him understand, analyze, and evaluate the linguistic events to which he is exposed. It also enables him to produce linguistic speech characterized by accuracy, fluency, and quality.
Be able to master the basic skills, strategies and processes of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- His linguistic speech should be consistent with the classical Arabic language: words, structures, grammatical control, and spelling.
To use language successfully in various intellectual and communicative functions of language:
- Cognitive/formal function: to communicate ideas, information, and cognitive content.
- Exploratory function: learning, searching, discovering and thinking.
- Independent function: Expressing his opinions, feelings and emotions
- Social function: interacting with others and forming and maintaining social relationships.

Objectives of social studies subject
- Learn about God's laws in the universe.
- Learn about the stories of some of the prophets and messengers, peace be upon them.
- Learn about the biography of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. - Consolidating belonging to the Islamic nation and pride in the Islamic religion.
- - Identifying examples of the principle of Shura during the era of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs.
- Developing Islamic morals and values.
- Acquiring the skill of numerical and visual patterns and employing them in life situations.
- Learn about aspects of the history of our homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Pride in belonging to our homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Getting to know some of the countries neighboring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and understanding the links between them.
- Providing thinking skills appropriate for the primary stage.
- Developing skills in using modern technologies.

Mathematics objectives
- Students become proficient in reading and writing natural numbers and are able to use them in real-life situations.
- Students should be able to use mathematical symbols and terms in reading, writing and expression.
- Reading and interpreting data in its various forms.
- Recognizing some solid materials such as cubes and parallelepipeds.
- Developing problem-solving skills within the limits of the student’s mental age.
- Acquiring the skill of numerical and visual patterns and employing them in life situations.
- Perform the four operations based on the rule of order of operations

Objectives of Islamic studies
- Developing the spirit of loyalty to Islamic Sharia, by disavowing every system or principle that contradicts this Sharia, and correcting actions and behaviors in accordance with its general, comprehensive provisions.

Objectives of the English language subject
- Students should be able to speak and discuss fluently and accurately about themselves.
- Students should be able to listen to some initial conversations and understand the general idea.
- Students should be able to write a 5 sentence paragraph about themselves.
- Students should be able to read simple sentences fluently and accurately.
- To enable students to practice English inside and outside school.
- For students to enjoy learning English through games.

Science subject objectives
- Introducing students to the basic scientific concepts of forces and motion, water and air, plants and animals, in inspiring and age-appropriate ways.
- The course aims to develop the student's observation, experimentation, and critical thinking skills through practical activities and simple experiments.
- The subject encourages students' curiosity and exploration, and enhances their desire to understand natural phenomena and discover the world around them.
- The course aims to spread awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and natural resources among students, and to promote correct environmental behaviors.
- The course works to develop critical thinking skills and solve scientific problems in a simple and appropriate way for the student’s age.
- The course contributes to building a scientific culture among students that helps them deal with scientific and technological developments in the future.
